As the City continues to flourish and grow, so does its need for thoughtful and responsible management. The Director of Public Works & Engineering leads the Department to provide safe, efficient, and cost-effective operational excellence. The Engineering Division is responsible for a variety of projects and programs including public infrastructure improvements, private development, construction, and utility permitting.

Engineering Projects
Public Infrastructure
- Provide design and construction engineering services
- Prepare bid documentation (RFPs/RFQs)
- Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) Implementation
- Sidewalk Replacement Program
- Street Sign Updates
Private Development
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly project inspections
- Support development plan review
- Coordinate pre-construction meetings
- Perform necessary SWPPP inspections
- Administer Bonds & Letter of Credit Releases
Stormwater Management
- Annual Water/Sewer System Updates
- Manage NPDES Stormwater Permits
- Provide assistance regarding floodplains
- Resolve drainage issues & service requests
Capital Improvement Plan (CIP)
- A multi-year plan outlining major infrastructure projects
- Current Capital Improvement Plan (2018-2027)
